David Denby's review of The Passion is quite interesting, placing the film in the context of other film adaptations of the life of christ. But while he remembers to invoke the stark beauty of Pasolini's Gospel of Matthew and the humanism of Scorsese's Last Temptation of Christ, I'm afraid I have to deduct points for neglecting the active and involved spirituality of Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

Also JCVH has hot lesbian action. The Passion has some guy being tortured for two hours apparently. Advantage: JCVH.
